Kiwicha (Quechua for ''Amaranthus caudatus'') or K'iwicha (Quechua for liver)〔Teofilo Laime Ajacopa, Diccionario Bilingüe Iskay simipi yuyayk'ancha, La Paz, 2007 (Quechua-Spanish dictionary)〕 (hispanicized spellings ''Quehuicha, Quehuisha, Queshihua, Quihuisha'') is a mountain in the Ch'ila mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about high (according to another source ).〔(www.uni.edu.pe )〕 It is located in the Arequipa Region, Caylloma Province, Lari District, west of the mountain Mismi.〔escale.minedu.gob.pe - UGEL map of the Caylloma Province (Arequipa Region)〕 The river Qallumayu originates south of Kiwicha, between the small lakes Tikllaqucha (Quechua for "two-colored lake", hispanicized ''Ticllacocha'') and Hatunqucha (Quechua for "big lake", hispanicized ''Jatuncocha'') near the little village Kiwicha ''(Quihnisha)''.
